Julie, Your pharmacist is not up-to-date. There was a problem a couple of years ago with the liquid cortef, but Upjohn thought they fixed it and began selling it again. They did not fix their problem and they have now taken the suspension cortef off the market. What your pharmacist is mixing is the same thing. If your daughter's numbers have been good, then your pharmacist is doing a good job and it is likely that your results will continue to be good. However, you do run the risk of different people mixing it and not doing it correctly. How long is your medicine good for? The pills are very easy to use, and much more stable. Your pharmacist can call Upjohn and talk to them so that she/he will have a better understanding of what is going on. Good Luck.CAT
