Deborah, You are both a terrific mother and grandmother. Try not to worry, as difficult as it is. I remember how overwhelming it was when my son was born 5yrs ago. He is also a sever salt waster. But like anything else it becomes routine in time. My son has been on the pill form of Cortef since he was born, so I'm not sure why your grandaughter's endo feels she is to young for the pill. My son has always been very well controlled and has only had what I would consider one minor crisis in which we needed to give him an IM injection at home. We kept our heads about us and the endo walked us through everything on the phone. I wish you all the best of luck and I will keep you in my prayers. Judy
