I assume you areusing the 5 mg pills from your description. From talking with a friend we have with three CAH's, he said that the 5 mg is a different form of hydrocortisone (I think hydro acitate if I remember right) That means that this pill only equals 4 mg of hydrocortisone. I would check your prescription, talk to a pharmacist and your endo. as this is second hand. but i know our emergency letter gives different doses of the various forms of cortisone to equal the same dose. Something to check into. Also, if you want 5 mg per day, there is a 10 mg pill that can be easily split, and seems to be 1:1 with the oral suspension (back in the days when it worked like it should)
