LynnT, again I appreciate your input. I am going to try to find the EZ Swallow one and buy a few! We are going out of town via airplane and was wondering how on earth am I going to do this with 2 kids on a plane but it actually sounds easier than the suspension was. I used to carry around baggies, syringes. cups , juice boxes just to give that.My 3 year old is very difficult, especially with meds, he seems to have a real taste sensitivity to things, even certain foods and the bitter pill has not been easy for us. He can taste it in anything and spits it out! Even the suspension was a nightmare for us sometimes. Once I even had to drag him to the pediatrician just to get the stress dose in him when he had a fever, it took 3 nurses and a doctor to hold him and get it into him and finally we had to threaten him with a shot to scare him into taking it. And believe me, we've tried everything, rewards, mixing it in everythingand anything . Even the endo and pediatrician have told me he's the most stubborn kid about the meds that they have ever seen! The baby is totally different, he makes a sour face but swallows it like nothing at all. So I have been very frustrated with all of this and when she asked me to switch to the pill I about died. All this info makes makes it much easier as no one here had any input on how to do it. Here I was crushing it in wax paper with a small jar, I couldn't be out in the middle of the day with them and was afraid to ask a babysittere to do it as they might mess up . I can't believe not even a pharmacist locally couldn't give me any ideas! So, thanks a million! Bettina
