i am not sure how to answer your question. I had a hysterectomy for several reasons. And to be honest with you, it was the best thing I ever did. At birth, in 1963 I was born with labial fusion and an enlarged clitoris. I wasn't diagnosed with CAH until I was trying to conceive our second child. I was 22. I had an ovarian cyst removed at the age of 15, My right ovary removed at 22. After my daughter was born my periods were very heavy. I became anemic and had a prolapsed uterus and adhesions around my bladder. (Both kids were C Sections). It just reached a point where it was the best thing to do. I don't have any scientific evidence of any kind, but I think that the hormone imbalance was part of the problem. sorry so long.
