Your son's situation sounds alot like my son's. My son is currently on 6.25mg of Cortef pill per day (2.5 in am, 1.25 in afternoon, and 2.5 in pm) He is 35 inches tall and weighs 34 pounds. Since switching to the pills we have reduced his dose 4 times (down from high of 11mg/day). He is still showing as oversuppressed. (17OHP less than 5) I am dreading his next blood draw. What if he is oversuppressed still? Did you son recently switch from liquid? What was his history while on the liquid? Have you had to reduce his dose lately? I agree this is very FRUSTRATING. And Frightening!
