Congratulations on the birth of your son! I think Laura said it pretty well. I have a 4 year old daughter and 2 year old daughter both of them have severe salt wasting 21 hyd. CAH. At first, I think my biggest obstacles were getting information and educating myself, the fear of the unknown and the feeling of isolation I felt. This board has some great links to get you alot of information. And as people find new sites, they post them. I have found that things get easier as my children and I grow to know each other. Taking care of them seems like second nature. There are good days and bad days but with your love and nurturing he will grow up to be fantastic! This board is amazing, so I am glad you found it. The MAGIC Foundation is a great organization. The number is 1-800-3MAGIC3 and the CAH division consultant is Cathy Kusch. She is a wonderful support!
