Welcome Zan, I too am a omther of a C.A.H. boy. He is almost 4 years old a the joy of our lives. We think the same as you that God has a wonderful purpose in life for Caleb we just have to wait to see wha that is. He was diagnosed at 5 weeks of age with a sodium of 97. The doctors could find no reasonable explination why he was still alive and at most he should have been in a coma. Not our little guy he went into I.C.U. screaming!:-) That was what my husband and I held onto when the doctors came and told us that in the next 7 hours they would know if our first son would live or die. As long as we could hear him cry (we were not allowed in the room with him until hours later. Ther just was not room for us among all the people that were taking care of him) we knew he was still alive. This walk that we are taking with him is a privledge at times and a terror too.Yet we know that there is a reason for everything that happens in life.
