Congratulations!! I am a mother of a son with CAH who together with his non-CAH twin brother just turned one - and trust me it absolutely does get easier. It may sound very cliche, but take it one day at a time. If you look too far down the road you will become overwhelmed. Personally, I try to keep it all in perspective, which admittingly is very hard at times. But, I just tell myself that I am doing all that is possible to ensure my son's health - educating myself on CAH, asking questions, supporting and advocating for him whenever necessary and most importantly I and my family surround my little angel with loads of love.
