My daughter acts like that when she gets TOO MUCH medication; it makes her hyper and restless until her levels get back where they should be. I am assuming that this switch to the pill from the liquid will have that effect on many of the kids, because the endos are prescribing the equivalent dosages for the pills, as compared to the liquid. I would bet that most kids who were on the liquid were NOT getting the amount of medication that the endos thought (and in fact, were getting LESS, because the suspension was so unreliable; in the letter that Upjohn sent the endos, it quotes that 18 out of 19 subject cases were not adequately controlled!! Yikes!), and will subsequently have to have their dosages lowered to compensate. In my humble (and paranoid!) opinion, I would insist on a blood draw to check for levels after my child had been on the pill for 6-8 weeks, just to make sure everything is going as expected. Good luck!
