Congratulations on the birth of your son! Being a new mom and having to deal with 2 medical conditions at the outset must seem very overwhelming sometimes! It's great that you found this board, because you'll find alot of support and information here. Give yourself time to absorb all the info about CAH, and know that your'e doing the best you can for your baby right now. My daughter is 4 now, and I had such a hard time accepting the fact that my daughter depended on a medication to live! I have come to accept the CAH and to accept my role as helping my daughter manage it. And I view her as a normal healthy child who accepts her daily life on her "little white and pink pills".
