This must be very frustrating for you! I looked back at my notes-at one year my daughter was on 7.5mg Cortef, but by 18 months was reduced to 5mg. Three months later it was back to 7.5mg. So many doseage changes! She has been on the pills since 3 months, she was not well controlled on the liquid at all, and that was in 1996. So she has been slightly undersuppressed and slightly oversuppressed as well. Overall, her height is good and her boneage was advanced by only 2 months.(I'm 5'2" and my husband is 5'6", so I know our girls will not be real tall!) The infancy stage is very hard because there is so much rapid growth. As long as your endo is on top of things and having frequent blood draws your son will probably be ok in the longrun. But as his mother you follow your gut instincts and keep on top of the endo! Intuitively, you'll know if something is not right! I wish none of us had to go through this with our kids. But I know that I have become a stronger person and have learned to trust myself, just because Iv'e had to be the best advocate for my daughter. I'll keep you and your son in my prayers!
