Laurel-If you feel strongly about switching to the pill then you should just be insistent. Your ped endo should be willing to switch, because of the product recall. Perhaps show him a copy of the recall letter if he hasn't seen it yet. I have considered switching ped endos at times, but those were times I tried to be firm on a particular issue, and she usually responded in-kind. We all have an ongoing relationship with our ped endos, and it's going to have its ups and downs. They have to be willing to wotk with us, afterall we know our children best! Good luck!
