Laurel, I know exactly what you are going through. We have an 11 month old baby that only takes a total of 2.40 of the liquid cortef a day. Our endo will not!!! change her to the pill form either. She also said the same thing about her dosage being so small, it would be hard to give her the right amount. She found a pharmacy that would make it, and that is what we are using. We insisted that she be changed to the pill form but it didnt do any good. We have been on the new liquid stuff for almost a month now, its really hard to tell if you are giving the right dose with this prescription also. We have noticed that if you shake it to much it foams up a whole lot, it hard to even get the right dosage, because of all the foam. We dont want to shake it to much but we also want to make sure that all the medicine that does settle on the bottom of the bottle gets mixed properly so that we can give her the right amount and dosage that she needs. Im anxious to see her test results when i take her in. I seriously think that her levels will not be right. Good Luck and try as hard as you can to get your child on the pill form. Keep us in prayer.
