This is a blessing because what if!!! For one thing what the ped endo wrote could cause a big problem - He/She wrote: "My endo has spelled it out very clearly; in case of fever, 101 or higher, vomiting more than 2-3 times, broken bone or infection to triple the dose and in case of unconsciousness give an injection or severe vomiting to give an injection." This is vague and WRONG!! It leads you to think to only give the injection in case of unconsciousness and severe vomiting. THIS IS VERY WRONG. Yes 101 fever triple the dose. But what if 102 or 103 or higher - GIVE THE INJECTION IMMEDIATELY. Don't wait - for one thing - you can't over dose but if underdose - can cause DEATH! And what in the world is severe vomiting. If vomit more than twice - give the injection - IMMEDIATELY!! Here are examples when to give the injection: - high fever (102, 103, etc) - repeated vomiting (more than once) - unconsciousness (unable to arouse)- lethargic, fatique, dizziness - repeated episodes of diarrhea - surgery or dental work involving anesthesiology)
