Laurel, At first her levels were always off. It wasnt until i found this message board that i learned that the cortef(UPJOHN) was supposed to be shaken for 5-7 minutes, and kept in a dark place(THANKS LYNN T.). The last time i had her levels checked while of course still on the cortef, her levels were very good. That is why her endo refused to change any of her patients to the pill form. She said, since thank goodness none of her patients had had any bad reactions to it, there was no need to change to the pill form. I know how you feel about possibly having to change endos, our endo is the only pedi-endo in our city. We would also have to travel a long way to see the next closest endo. But, ofcourse we will do anything for our kids. Ill keep you posted. Sorry this post is so long. Hopefully you wont have to change endo's, good luck and God bless.
