Lynn, I know exactly what you are going through. I quit my job after my daughter was born. I dont trust anyone to watch her and give her medications on time. I already worry about sending her to school. At this point im really considering home schooling her. As far as being a wimp, you are the strongest person on this board. Thanks to you, we have learned so much about CAH and how to deal with all sorts of problems you have been our guardian angel on this board. You are just like the rest of us moms who worry constantly about our children and with all of the things your son has gone through you have every right to. Like the rest of us you love your son so much that its hard to trust anyone with him, I know the feeling we all do. The only thing i can tell you is trust god and leave it in his hands, you will be surprised at how awsome he is. Trust in god is what i always have to remind myself also. Im supposed to be going back to work in October I am looking for a person to watch my daughter as we speak. Dont let your son see that you are apprehensive about his going to school. That will make it harder on him, you will be surprised how much they can sense. If he sees you are upset he will be to. I know i used to be a teacher. As far as the school nursing staff goes, make sure they call you no matter what. It's always better to be safe thatn sorry. Take care and i will pray for you and your son like i do every night. Feel free to email me if you would like to talk some more.
