You can find a lot of different discussion about the recall of liquid Cortef, and the subsequent switch to pills and "homemade" suspensions, starting on pages 8 & 7, Martin. Many of us had reservations about the liquid product long before Upjohn actually recalled it. My 3 yr old daughter has been chewing the pills with no problems since she was 8 mo old; many people on the message board have tried crushing the pill and mixing it with things like jam, yogurt, peanut butter, or fruit juice concentrate, with success. I would strongly recommend having your son take the pill form (although several others have their pharmacists make a suspension for them, and would disagree with me); I lost a 2 yr old salt-wasting son almost 10 yrs ago, and don't trust any form of the suspension - but that may just be me. Good luck on finding something that is easier for you and your son to take! God's blessings!Wendy-Lee
