To Joan W and Cindy Just wondered why if you are non-saltwasting - some endo think you still need salt tabs and some endos think you dont. I have heard on this board that both salt wasters and non salt wasters take salt tablets (florinef) - my baby is non-salt wasting and does not have the salt replacing tabs - maybe the hydrocortisone gives her what's needed but I would hate to thinks she needs it and does not get it. Also her endo thinks she has a mild version of CAH - do you think this means she is making some seteriods herself. She was not diagnosed until she was 3 months old she is now 1 - but we only forund out by chance that she had CAH - her clitoris was just slightly enlarged - not hardly noticable - but our midwife insited get it checked (good on her!) but she was not ill in the 12 weeks before being diagnosed - would this mean anything to you. Anxiously awaiting your response.
