Marie, I was, until last week when I switched to a local endocrinologist, probably Dr. New's oldest patient. Dr. New does have adult patients but she may be an exception. Since your daughter is already 16 she is probably going to have to find an adult endo in the next couple of years anyway, so why put it off. I suspect that unless you are moving to a large city you will have a tough time finding any doctor familiar with CAH. The important thing is to find a doctor that you and especially your daughter feel comfortable with and who is willing to listen and learn. The new doctor may not be familar with CAH when you step in the door but you should find one that you feel confident is going to take the time to learn about your daughter's condition. Good luck, Joan
