Re: To Adults with CAH - when to make the switch to reg. endo?

I switched when I was 19 after I finally decided I was too old to be seeing a pedi endo. To tell you the truth, I didn't search for an adult enod, I just went by the recommendation of my pedi endo. I've been seeing this endo for 17 years and we finally have an understanding. Although we may have not got along (he was way too clinical for me), he has kept my CAH under very good control. If you do move, switch to an adult. Otherwise, if your pedi endo will continue to see you and you don't mind being the oldest patient in the waiting room, stay where you are. If it does bother you, ask your pedi endo for a referral. Good luck.
