One thing I would add, since there are different types of adrenal insufficiency and CAH, is to ask them to look in their medical book, for the type your child has; salt-wasting is Type III, and our bracelet says, "Adrenal Hyperplasia, salt-wasting type, treat with hydrocortone" (which is the emergency medication we carry). They felt it was important to indicate salt wasting, due to the electrolyte imbalance that can occur almost immediately. Actually, now that I think of it, it may only say, "Adrenal Hyperplasia, Type III, treat with Hydrocortone"; that may have been all that fit, and the salt wasting indication is on his record with them.
