I agree that if you are not sure and it is not medically necessary, you should wait. There is a lot of controversy and a lot of surgeries have not had positive outcomes. However, I have CAH and I had the surgery done when I was less than a year old. I am one of the lucky ones. Mine worked. I am not furious about what was done to me. I don't remember the surgery and wouldn't have known I had it if I had not been told. I have sensation. I have two children and I am pregnant with my 3rd.
