When I was in school yesterday, the classes were changing and Ryan saw another boy with an emergency ID bracelet on. He grabbed me by the arm and said "Hey look Mom, that kid has CAH too"! As I explained to him about all the different disorders it could be I saw a sense of understanding come over him that told me he was beginning to understand that he wasn't alone in having special medical needs. I have told him many times, but I think actually seeing it served to really bring it home for him. I knew this school thing would be a good learning experience for him. Look how much he's learned in just one week!!! I just thought it was a cute little story to share. Happy Labor Day to you all!!
