Ryan sounds so clever! At one of last year's soccer games, Christina (then 5) was trying to get the ball away from a girl from the other team....and saw that this girl had a medic-alert bracelet. Play stopped completely for a few seconds while these two 5-yr-olds compared bracelets. However, since neither girl could really read, all Christina knew was that this girl did NOT have an "adrenal insufficiency" since "the words didn't look the same as mine". ('allergic to nuts'....her mom and I spoke afterwards). Believe it or not, there is a wonderful woman at our church who wears the beautiful gold medic-alert bracelet that says, among other things, 'adrenal insufficiency'. God works in mysterious ways!
