What a coincidence! Just today as I handed my son his gatorade, he said "it's silly mommy even when I just get through drinking I am still thirsty". He is not a big milk drinker (so we push the tums) but he does like ice water, gatorade, soda and juice. His Kindergarten teacher knows to let him get up and get a drink whenever he feels he needs to. He is one of the most severe salt wasters that they have ever handled at his hospital. He also tends to go down hill quickly when ill. I definately think that there is a connection.
