I also wonder how many med or bio-tech students looking for a research project even know about the plight our kids face. Even before I checked the message board today and read your message, I wondered what effect a poster at a medical research school would have asking for help (make that pleading). Even if someone would take on developing a pin prick test that would give immediate results similar to when a diabetic checks daily insulin levels... we could check for cortisol and/or progesterone levels and get immediate info. I guess that's where a non-profit organization devoted to CAH would be a benefit. Imagine..actually soliciting donations to fund research that isn't just studying all the effects the CAH does to our kids... but actually developing something that would move more in the direction of a cure. With the cost of research today, money talks.Peg
