Sarah, There is an article called "Home Monitoring of 17-OHP levels in Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia with Filter Paper Samples" in the Feb. 1999 issue of the Journal of Pediatrics. It is by H. Bode and SA Rivkees and talks about many of the same issues you raise here. Dr. Rivkees is a pediatric endo. who also is an expert on circadian rhythm. I can't give you too much other input, but maybe by reading the article, you can glean enough to discuss your concerns and thoughts with your endo.
