How timely your posting is. I just hung up the phone with a friend of mine and I told her that althoug Ryan is extremely intellegent in many ways, he may have a problem when it comes to sitting down and consentrating due to all the extra energy he has going on. I told the teacher to treat him like any other child with time outs, etc. I guess I won't really know until he gets his progress report in a few months. And until he begins to try to read in the second grade. I had actually heard that many CAH children were of higher intellegence and have read many postings where parents have stated that their children seem to be unusually smart. I believe that there is even a child of genious status out there somewhere. Good luck to you.
