Florinef of .2mg does seems like too much to me. My daughter, who will be one year old in a few weeks only takes 0.1 mg in two doses(.05 in morning and .05 in evening). She has been on this dose since birth. However, she has also taken NaCl supplements since birth. We have gradually reduced her NaCl supplements over the past 6 months because she is getting more sodium in her food as she is eating more table food. My endo has adjusted her need for sodium based on her renin levels as well as her sodium levels and her blood pressure. Also, my daughter is now more able to request the foods she needs to maintain her sodium balance. She loves and demands popcorn, a snack I frequently make for her toddler brother. I sometimes find her licking the empty popcorn bowl to get the salt left behind. Also, goldfish crackers are a favorite of hers. All kids are different and if her child's labs are okay, the the florinef dose must be working for you. Good Luck!Bobbie
