Mara, You are the one that has made me feel that CAH is not such a bad thing. I read so many terrible stories and felt that my daughter was in for a lifetime of misery. But your stories about how CAH is just another bump in the road gave me optimism and hope. My daughter is almost one now and we have not had any major problems (only the ones I created for myself) and it is so good to hear from someone with a positive attitude in dealing with this disorder. Please continue to post, if for no other reason than to let new parents and patients know that CAH is not a death sentence, but rather a manageable condition. I hope my CAH daughter grows to have the same spirit and love of life as you.
