Laurel, I am so glad you found this board! I just spoke with my endo the other night on the phone (our 2 year old has pneumonia). She reiterated to me that should she start to vomit or have severe diarea to inject her immediately and that since solu-cortef only lasts about 6 hours we would need to get her to the hospital for IV fluids before the 6 hours was up (we usually go immediately).
