Brandon has been taking the cortef pills for awhile, he is 16 years old, If memory serves me right (??I believe memory is gone)! he started the pills a few years back, if not longer. Ironically, we only see the endo every 6 months and I am wondering if we need to be getting labs done more often? The last time they increased his florinef to a .5 in pm and raised his cortef to 10 mg in afternoon. Now he is at 15/10/15 mg cortef, and .1 mg of Florinef twice daily. The endo told us it could be because of the growth spurt?? Your right, we are the advocates for our children, they won't stand up and fight.
