The articles, in short form are at www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov the window on the left pull down PubMed and in the search box type Plante E She is the Professor who is in the learning disablities section at the U of Arizona, she has done alot of articles on LD. This one is #13 on her search page pub 1996 May. The you click the related articles button and you will pull up alot more research on this subject. I will e mail you the Pro. response on the non CAH siblings. My 3 kids all have a reading/writing LD My daughter 14 non CAH. Twin boys 8.5 CAH salt wasters. I was very upset too when I first read this a couple of days ago, because I was told, and also told the teachers that their condition couldn't make a difference to them. But what my struggling mind came up with is that I couldn't change anything by blaming myself or feeling that these boys have another cross to bear. But what I could DO is be more informed, and take that information and help the teachers with a positive direction in instructing this LD. I cruised a couple of the articles and is sounds if the blessing with the extra Testosrtone is a higher IQ! All my best, KathrynKathryn
