I had the amnio, and everything went fine, but I was on the DEX for 22+weeks, it takes a long time to get the results etc... I would investigate the CVS if I were to have any more children, I am not sure if I want to, 2 kids w/ CAH is, I think enough for me. I did not enjoy the DEX treatment, it made me "crazy"! I did not end up gaining anymore weight that I did w/ my first pregnancy, but I looked really puffy on the DEX and was just unhappy, I am not sure if I would do it again as I have heard mixed results. But If you are going to do it you need to start now, the sooner the better! I started when I was 4 weeks. I know that the sooner you start the better the outcome is...
