Hey, I just thought I would pass on a tip. My daughter was outside playing on the swingset when she began screaming with that ear piercing pitch that makes the little hairs on the back of your neck stand straight up. You know the kind I'm talking about. The kind that let's you know right away that it's not mellow drama - it's real!! She got stung by a white faced hornet on her pinky knuckle and it was swelling up right before my eyes. I did all the right things, Motrin, cold water, called the doctor, got boo-boo bear for her. There was no consolling her. Then it hit me! EMLA CREAM TO THE RESCUE!!!! It gave her almost immediate relief from the pain (and my ears some relief from the scream). Now, whether it was psychological or not doesn't matter much to me. All I know is that it brought back that sweet little smile to her face with the speed of light. She felt special that her brother let her use his cream, and her brother felt special that he could help her with her boo-boo. I just love happy endings don't you?
