My son has had numerous problems with his bones, including a broken leg when he was just 2 - but he doesn't have CAH! He DOES however, have a severe milk allergy, and gets no dairy products of any kind - only calcium supplements. We were concerned about the strength of his bones, and so his pediatrician did a bone density test (mostly involved an x-ray) - and he is OK, just very active (and accident prone, I guess!) In any case, if you are really worried about your daughter's bones, her doctor can easily arrange for a bone density test, to see if they are growing properly. I can understand your worry - I remember, too, an adult CAH'er posting a while back about the steriods leaching calcium out out her bones, which could create problems. Does your daughter take a calcium supplement? Might be a good idea. Hope this rambling helps! God's blessings!Wendy-Lee
