my daughters (9yr-CAH salt-waster) blood work came up perfect. I am thankful for that even though I really expected an increase in meds for this one. She has grown 2 inches in 4 months, looks thin, has dark circles under eyes. August-September are hard months for her with alergies. I guess our next stop is the ped. for allergy med. The ragweed and Mt. Cedar are at very high levels, everyone I know has runny noses and sore eyes. I was worried about her bloodwork coming back abnormal and her needing more cortef. My CAH daughter is my only child. I sometimes do not know what is normal for children. I was alarmed by her growth of 2 inches this summer, however, my sister says that her girls grew a lot during the summer months... She is due a bone age next endo visit. Endo was surprised at her growth, but did not seemed alarmed. He is now predicting my daughter to be quite tall! She is on the 75th percentile for her age. To thoes of you who have non-CAH children also, do you see this kind of growth in them too? Is the age of 9 a time you usually see these large growth spirts? TIA - karen
