When my son was being undersuppressed due to the Liquid Cortef thing, he was not eating very well at all. They called it anorexia-type symptoms. It may not be related, but it wouldn't hurt to check ASAP. Until then, I would get him to drink one of those high protein and vitamin drinks like Ensure or the like. Was he sick prior to this behavior? How were his levels at his last check up?
