Re: CAH Son no food for 7 days

Our 18 month old CAH daughter is not and has never been a good eater. I recently attended a Child Health Seminar called "Fussy Eating" aimed at children up to 5 years of age, and it became very apparent that eating problems with children is very very common. This Seminar is continually booked out by frustrated parents. According to the Dietitian, children at around age 12 months learn to become very independent and play 'mind' games with their parents. They are always looking for a reaction from mum or dad, whether it be positive or negative it doesn't matter. It was a relief to know that the eating problem was one that is quite common with all children, not necessarily CAH related, and may be just a phase our daughter is going through. As the Dietitian said, "if they are hungry they will eat, they will never starve". She may always be a small eater, however we still tend to worry jst a little.
