Anon: The first thing that the doctor told me I should do was to put some Litocane on it. I didn't have any so we came up with the Emla. He was actually pretty impressed with the improvision and the fast acting relief it offered. He was on the phone with me when I applied it to my screaming daughter and he witnessed the almost immediate halt in tears and trama. My children share lots of things, but they know that they are not to touch ANY medication without Mom or Dad around anyway even if it is just a topical cream.
