My endo does run the androstenedione every blood draw and says that it is a better indicatior than the 17 ohp, he runs the 17 OHP too, but says the former is better as your endo had said the 17OHp can vary. My endo runs a Renin every other blood draw unless he makes a change in the florinef... Hope this helps also my endo runs an electrolyte panel everytime. We get blood drawn every 3-4 mos.
