This is a cream you apply to the inside of the arm where blood will be drawn. I put it on each arm because we never know which arm will be drawn from. This is a magical cream. It numbs the surface of the skin. You apply it one hour before blood draw and keep this plastic wrap looking bandaid on it. You have to ask your doctor for a prescription. It is the best medicine ever made by man. I found out about this cream from this board too. My daughter is three and I just found this board last December. It took some trust for my daughter to realize that the cream was not going to let needle hurt her. Now she knows the cream will help her.
