As I stated in my post below, I was just at the ped endo with my 18 month old daughter who hasing 21 hydrozylase def. So I will be posting a lot of questions in the next few days. She is about 28 1/2 pounds and 34 inches tall. I have read many times in articles and on this board that a child between 6 months and 2 years old they should get 50 mgs (1 cc.) of the solu-cortef. My daughter's ped endo told us 50 mgs. is too much for her and she only needs 25 mgs.(1/2 cc.)of solu-cortef. His explantion was that she had a mild case of CAH and wouldn't need so much solu-cortef. Does anyone else have a different dose? Does this sound reasonable? I am afraid in case of emergency that it won't be enough medicine and she can go into adrenal crisis even though I am giving her the shot. Help please! Thanks in advance, your answers always make me feel so much better. LaurelLaurel
