LynnG, Had your son shown signs of puberty? You didn't mention that he was showing signs of this. That is usually the only reason they start Lupron shots. I was surprised at the dosage of 40mg per day. Even the 30 mg is rather high. I have read some studies that anything over 25 mg a day is going to produce cushingoid symptoms. Perhaps that is what is going on here. I will try to locate the copies of the studies I was referring to so that you might find them and read them.
