Sarah, As Wendy-Lee said, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Some things you might try are: 1. Make sure he is not filling up on liquid. Liquids don't stick with you. Some toddlers like to drink more than eat. Monitor the amount of liquids he gets. If he drinks all of his milk at the beginning of the meal (like some kids tend to do), don't give it to him until the food has been eaten. Or only give him small sips. If he is drinking juice, this can be a big appitite killer. Your pediatrician should be able to help you determine how much milk/formula/water/juice he should be getting in a given day. 2. Try giving him a food snack shortly before bedtime. Things that often work well and are easy to do, are a warm bowl of oatmeal, toaster waffels, saltine crackers. He might also just like to cuddle with mom when he wakes up. I would not be concerned with this issue until you feel confident that he has enough food in his system to last through the nigh. Good luckJanetD
