This DOES sound like CAH to me, and as Anne said, kids with CAH and a high fever can go from OK to dead within a very short time. I also lost a child very quickly due to adrenal crisis (from seemingly OK to gone within 18 hrs.), and would keep a VERY close eye on your daughter tonight. I don't want to freak you out, but you have a right to be very worried; if your daughter isn't drinking much, and especially if she exhibits signs like slurred speach, drowsiness, lethargy, dizziness or vomiting (even once!) - get her to the hospital TONIGHT!
