Hi Laura, I have a product called Burn-n-Bite that relieves the pain of minor burns and painful insect bites. Soothes sunburn and moisturizes damaged skin. It is made by Stanmar Laboratories, A division of Q.A. Laboratories, Kanasas City, MO 64106. This product contains lidocain (sp). I keep in the kitchen for burns. Took the sting away immediately. I think this is what you remember from your childhood. I don't have the insert anymore that came with this product :(. Jamie
