After speaking with my genetic counselor (Ann Carlson), my husband and I came to the conclusion not to take dex with this pregnancy. I took it (for 8 weeks) with my last pregnancy and had gotten very sick (after the birth of my daughter). I had to be re-admitted to the hospital 2 days after we went home with extremely high blood pressure and was on lots of meds for months, couldn't even breastfeed.
