I am so glad i found this thread. I am 28 with non salt wasting CAH and take 10mg/hydrocortisone per day. Debbie- you were talking about staying on the cortisone throughout the one of your pregnancies. Are there any advantages to cortisone v dex. I have only always been on cortisone and recently i talked to my doctor about getting pregnant and he said he would probably switch me to dex- i really dont know why and just thought maybe you would know. I have heard some horror stories about dex and was scared to change. Also to sheila- where did you get your husbands genetic testing done? at the doctors or genetisists.? i have been looking into it but was told it cost 1000$ to find out if my husband is a carrier.does anyone have any info on this?
